Activity 2
Learning Objective: Understand how to measure and compare volume of liquid.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to measure and
                                 compare volumes of liquid by using non-standard units
                                 correctly.                                                              

Prior Knowledge:
Pupils had learnt how to compare more or less volume of liquid.

Teaching Aids:
Various small containers of different sizes, five similar size recycle drinking plastic glasses, five cups, two jugs of Milo, two jugs of syrup and an experiment paper.

Vocabulary:
more, less, about the same amount

Procedures:

l. Divide the class into group of five pupils and have them work in their cooperative
   learning.
2. Appoint one pupil in the group to be the recorder.
3. Give each group a set of containers of different sizes, five similar size
    recycle drinking plastic glasses.


4. Have the pupils open container of different sizes with label A, B, C, D and E
    carefully.
5. Pour the syrup from the different size of containers into the five similar sizes
    recycle drinking plastic glasses.
6. Ask the pupils which container is less and which container is more or which are
    about the same.( low achieve student )

7. Give each group a set of containers of different sizes, two jugs of Milo and a
    small cup as the measurement tool.

8. Have the pupils in each group to fill the large jug with the Milo.
9. Have the pupils to pour the Milo into container of different size with label
    A, B, C, D and E. ( high achieve student ) 
10 .Each group will record the number of cup needed to fill the water in every
      containers into the table given below:
